Meet the creators behind this collaboration and view a selection of works from Ezra Brown.

About Ezra Brown

His character: Happy the clown reflects his own view on things.

Ezra Brown’s work mainly features acrylics on canvas and some occasional woodworking. Currently based in San Diego California, Ezra studied art at the Academy of Art San Francisco, and his father was an artist, who inspired him to pursue his artistic career.

Having people relate to his struggles is a beautiful thing to witness, and he hopes to inspire people young and old with art created from a personal experience.

About 5&A Dime

Meet Jason (Jay) and Darcie Huggins, the dynamic brother-sister duo behind San Diego's quirkiest store. Growing up immersed in BMX, snowboarding, and skating, Jay, the 10-years-older big brother, inadvertently shaped Darcie's adventurous spirit. Fast forward to 2004, Jay proposed a wild idea for a shop, and with Darcie's brains and business savvy, 5&A Dime was born.

Originally a blend of designer toys, coffee table books, and candy, the shop evolved into a sought-after clothier. Starting with friends' brands like Crooks & Castles and The Hundreds, 5&A Dime became San Diego's finest spot for unique clothing. Today, it stands as a testament to family, friendship, and genuine support for the local scene.
