Bring the entire family to Free Second Sunday for our free family series, Play Day!
Come join your MCASD friends in a polaroid mailing project inspired by MCASD’s special exhibition, For Dear Life: Art, Medicine, and Disability. Get your photo taken and create cards full of well-wishes that can be mailed to friends and families, sending messages of love. Dress up nicely and spread love and care!
Art Activity: Be part of a polaroid greeting card project that can be mailed to the ones you care about.
Schedule:
- At 11AM, explore works from MCASD's new exhibition For Dear Life: Art, Medicine, and Disability through a kid friendly tour.
- From 11AM-2PM, enjoy music by DJ Pablo Dodero, a cozy book nook, and free play in Jacobs Hall. The greeting card dropbox and photo booth will be located in Prebys Learning Center.
- At 1:30PM, listen to stories, songs, and rhymes in Storytime with Librarian on the Go.
*Museum admission is free from 11AM – 5PM for all visitors, with Play Day offerings happening between 11AM – 2PM.
No RSVPs are required for Play Day admission.
About Play Day
Play Day is a monthly event at the Museum designed for families to explore art together. Activities include special tours, hands-on projects, and at-your-own-pace guides. Centered at the Conrad Prebys Learning Center and extending into the galleries and terraces, each Play Day offers new and engaging ways to experience the artworks on display.
