About "An Artful Life"
An Artful Life provides a public glimpse into a private home collection. Recognized for their exuberant and expansive holdings of contemporary art and repeatedly included on ARTnews Top 200 Collectors list, Matthew C. Strauss (1933-2024) built a world-class collection of contemporary art alongside his wife, Iris Strauss. Artists include Jennifer Bartlett, Damien Hirst, Alex Katz, Takashi Murakami and Julian Schnabel, among others.
