On the third Thursday of every month, the museum offers free admission to all visitors. No reservations are required for Third Thursday admission.
Free Public Tour: Focused Narratives
5PM: A guided tour that takes a deeper dive into the themes and artworks in Forecast Form: Art in the Caribbean Diaspora, 1990s–Today.

Rebellion & Movement: Bomba Liberté
6PM: Join San Diego-based Bomba Liberté in a communal dance and history sharing.
Bomba is a responsive dance – both in its origins as a reaction against slavery and as a conversation between dancers and musicians – in which the musician responds to the dancer’s movement.
