Join us for a unique opportunity to view the remarkable artworks that will be featured in MCASD's celebrated biennial Art Auction. Explore approximately 60 works, including paintings, sculptures, and works on paper by early career and internationally recognized artists.

Art Auction 2024
presents the opportunity for collectors to acquire pieces from renowned artists like John Baldessari and Robert Rauschenberg or emerging talents like Kelly Akashi and Elliott Hundley. The event is the museum’s largest fundraiser, providing vital support for educational programs, exhibitions, and art acquisitions. All works are carefully considered by MCASD’s Director and Curators.

Join the event

After a four-year hiatus, MCASD will host its biennial Art Auction at MCASD (700 Prospect St, La Jolla) on Friday, May 10.

The Art Auction will begin at 6 p.m. with a hosted bar and ample food stations as guests enter their silent auction bids.
