MCASD’s Teen Art Collective (TAC) invites you to Teen Night and their end of year exhibition, Cherished Threads: Connections and Memories.
The exhibition features the work of a diverse group of 14 high school teens from across San Diego County. Throughout the last ten months, TAC has explored how our sense of nostalgia and how our ideas and notions of care help us understand and relate to the people, communities, and places around us. Using the lens of Contemporary Art, the teens developed their ideas and material vocabulary to create a body of work that is in conversation with each other and beyond.
Join us for a night filled with music and refreshments, while hearing the teens share about their pieces and the experience of being part of TAC.
The Teen Art Collective showcase is on view in Axline Court from June 5 – June 29.
Showcase dates are open to the public during our gallery hours: Thursday – Saturday from 11AM – 7PM and Sunday from 11AM – 5PM.
