Gather with family and friends to make prints inspired by San Diego’s native animals and plants. Inspired by Gail Werner, we’ll draw scenes filled with local nature and create monoprints with tempera paints.

Enjoy a kid-friendly tour, listen to stories, and enjoy a book nook. All ages welcome. Come make art and make memories!

Art Activity: In Prebys Learning Center, create monoprints of local wildlife.

  • At 11AM, join a kid friendly tour exploring MCASD's permanent collection inspired by San Diego’s native landscape
  • From 11AM-2PM, enjoy music, cozy up in the book nook, and play freely on McGrath Terrace.
  • At 12:30PM, sing, listen, and laugh at Storytime with Ms. Katia, Librarian On the Go
