MCASD is excited to host an Extended School Partnership featuring art from 25 students from the North Park, Downtown, and Clairemont Resource Centers of the Charter School of San Diego.

Students learned about the thematics behind Pop Art and how later contemporary artists used elements of Pop to make poignant statements about their identities and culture. Working with their teachers and MCASD educators, these young artists created pieces inspired by our permanent collection galleries.

Showcase dates are open to the public during our gallery hours, 10AM – 4PM.
