About Membership
At MCASD, we want you to continually discover new ways to experience, support and learn from the Museum’s programs. We hope exploring our galleries and community becomes part of your lifestyle. Our Core Membership levels—Discovery, Wanderlust, Enthusiast and Ardent—make up The Community: A place where we can experience our ever-changing world through the prism of contemporary art together and often.
All Core Memberships Receive:
— Annual free unlimited admission to MCASD La Jolla
— Discounted admission to MCASD Downtown experiences

— Complimentary Guest Admissions
— 10% discount on purchases at The Kitchen at MCASD and The Shop

All Core Memberships require a one-year commitment, purchased upfront. Renewals are automatically charged on the membership expiration day unless opted out by the member. Auto-renewal reminders are sent two months before expiration and the month of expiration.

Acquisition Affinity Group
Are you inspired by the thought of belonging to a group of patrons who learn about works of art that the Museum would like to acquire? Choosing to be a part of this affinity gives you the unique opportunity to participate in the selection process of acquisition works selected by MCASD’s Curators and Collections Committee. The Annual Acquisition Celebration will be the culmination event where selected works added to the permanent collection are announced and celebrated.
Acquisition Affinity Group members must support MCASD as a member at the Wanderlust level or higher and make an additional gift of $1,000 or more to join this group. This donation is fully tax deductible and 100% supports the purchase of art to be added to the Museums collection.
