About Membership
At MCASD, we want you to continually discover new ways to experience, support and learn from the Museum’s programs. We hope exploring our galleries and community becomes part of your lifestyle. Our Membership levels—Discovery, Wanderlust, Enthusiast and Ardent—make up The Community: A place where we can experience our ever-changing world through the prism of contemporary art together and often.
General Membership Benefits for All Levels:
— Annual free unlimited admission to MCASD La Jolla
— Personalized digital membership card(s)
— 10% discount on purchases at The Shop and The Kitchen at MCASD
— Invitations to Members' Exhibition Receptions
— Complimentary or discounted tickets for MCASD programs and events
All Memberships are valid for a year from date of purchase. Renewals are automatically charged on the membership expiration day unless opted out by the member. Auto-renewal reminders are sent two months before expiration and the month of expiration.
All Memberships are fully tax deductible.

Avant Garde – Membership Add-on, $250-500
Avant Garde is MCASD’s group of young professionals, budding art enthusiasts, collectors, and creators. The focus of the group is behind the scenes access to the arts and offers Members networking opportunities among artists, curators, collectors and their peers. This special add-on to any membership level invites you to join exclusive experiences at the Museum, field trips to notable collections or galleries, and special gatherings and events. You will be a part of an influential network of art lovers and philanthropists who are committed to MCASD all the while expanding your understanding of art.
Annual Avant Garde access can be added to any Membership level upon adding it to your shopping cart. Discovery level memberships only may select the Single Avant Garde add-on. For those interested in adding Avant Garde to your membership mid-term, please contact membership@mcasd.org.
