Preview Party: "Visiones Nocturnas: Queer Nightlife in Contemporary Art"

The Preview Party celebrates the opening of our new exhibition, Visiones Nocturnas: Queer Nightlife in Contemporary Art.
Works included in Visiones probe the physical trappings of these environments—dance clubs, dive bars, block parties, backyards and bathhouses—for their capacity to generate sites of queer belonging, transcendence, and resilience. Highlighting Latina/o/e and Latin American artists from the 1990s to today, this intergenerational presentation encompasses painting, performance, photography, sculpture, textile, collage, video, and more.
