Bring the entire family to Free Second Sunday on Mother's Day for our family series, Play Day!
From 11AM – 2PM, harness your creativity and express the music inside you by painting tambourines inspired by the Scoli Acosta's Pentagonal Monochromes!
Additionally, from 11:30AM – 12:30PM, make your very own paper instruments with violinist Ilana Waniuk, trumpet player David Aguila, and flutist Teresa Diaz de Cossio–the talented musicians of Project Blank. Then, play along as Project Blank leads us in a musical parade performance!
At 1PM, Ms. Katia will also lead an engaging, music-themed story time that captivates and inspires us.
Art Activity: Decorate tambourines inspired by Scoli Acosta's Mars triptych (2012) in Prebys Learning Center and make paper instruments with Project Blank in Jacobs Hall

Play Day is a monthly event at the Museum designed for families to explore art together. Activities include special tours, hands-on projects, and at-your-own-pace guides. Centered at the Conrad Prebys Learning Center and extending into the galleries and terraces, each Play Day offers new and engaging ways to experience the artworks on display.
