Join us for a special edition of FIC Studio Sessions' The Listening Room, a alongside the current exhibition on view, Giants.

The Listening Room is an intimate hi-fi vinyl listening experience that explores music as a universal conduit for introspection, presence, and connection.

3PM: Doors Open

5PM: Event Ends. 

Listening Room attendees looking to also attend Jazz Night will be pre-checked in at the conclusion of Listening Room. At 5PM, Listening Room attendees will get early entry into Jazz Night. Note: The bar in Art Park will not be open until 5:30PM.

Where at the museum does this event take place?

Check in will be located in our main lobby near The Shop. The Listening Room event will take place indoors in Axline Court. 

Tickets & Entry

This event is all-ages. ID is required for entry. If you do not have an ID present you will be given an under 21 wristband.

To enter the galleries before, during, or after the event, please visit the front desk for entry.

Food & Drink

No food or drink will be available at The Listening Room. We recommend grabbing a bite at The Kitchen during their open hours.

Parking

Street parking is available in the area with meter and non-metered spaces. Meters end at 8PM.

They were spaces where individuals, particularly from marginalized communities, could fully express and be seen, and where the artificial barriers between people could be broken down by a unifying rhythm.
