Step into a dream-like world inspired by lucha libre at the immersive experience La Lucha. Beginning in April, La Lucha is coming to MCASD's Joan and Irwin Jacobs Building in Downtown San Diego. The vibrant and immersive show will plunge you into a story of forbidden love, secret portals, and ringside thrills.

Prepare to be transported into the realm of La Lucha, created by award-winning designer David I. Reynoso of Optika Moderna (WOW Festival's sold-out hits Waking La Llorona and Las Quinceañeras) and inspired by the high-flying maneuvers of Mexican Lucha Libre wrestling. In this Without Walls world-premiere immersive experience — a partnership between La Jolla Playhouse and MCASD — mysterious opticians will guide you into a realm of forbidden loves, dangerous secrets and ringside thrills.

Secure your spot now and join this adventure, named by No Proscenium as one of the most-anticipated works of 2023!

Performance run: April 27 - June 4, 2023
Where: MCASD's Joan and Irwin Jacobs Building in Downtown (1100 Kettner Blvd.)
